I actually like the song but if you go dancing like that these days you're more likely to get thrown out by the bouncer or worse still beaten up or stabbed.

I like the song because like a lot of music around that era it was fun and didnt take itsself too seriously unlike today. If you are in pop you have to look girl y boy good looking or if you are in urban you have to look hard and some go so far to prove it by shooting a person or two

Gimme the 60's and 70's..even to an extent the 80's but thats what really changed it all

All genres of music was great then, pop, rock, reggae, everything.

Even film soundtracks

It's the "dancing" that sort of makes your flesh crawl, the songs sort of OK for the time. Here's another one, with that wierd "dancing."

I think the group must have been a fav with the grannies at the time, "ooh look at those happy young people, aren't they lovely!"

And another example of sickening, puke making young people of the time, "Having fun!" is Summer Holiday with Cliff Richard.
Would have been great to see a film where this lot met a large group of punks on their way for a Summer Holiday of sniffing glue and fighting! LOL

Just the lyrics alone remind you of the fun they had back then.

"I could mash potato" ha ha..Love it! Loved the dance move of mashing potato too and the twist that went with it.

Everything is all sexed up and commercial now by comparison. its no wonder there mis more teenage pregnancies going in these days.

Should have stuck to the mash potato

Tom Jones in some 'freestyle' dancing.

Just skip to 1.15 if you want the goods

We have need of you again, great king.
