New BBC iplayer

Is Rubbish! Its harder to navigate full or errors doesnt always stream properly has a tendencey to crash and blaim the users internet conection and was a compleate waste of time and money.

The old one worked fine. Sure it didnt look all shiny and down with the kids but its a free service there for the purpose of allowing people to watch the quality shows the BBC use the licence fee to make.

The quality of programing for various reasons has taken a massive down turn over the years and I would much rather they used the money I give them to try and make watchable programs than to piss me off with a brand new state of the art impossible to navigate system.

The reason you are getting this rant is because the BBC board is currently broken and you cant submit new posts at this time.

THe BBC are a bit like the Royal family useless but a living symbol of what we were as a great nation.

The navigation is poor, I'll grant you, Masie, but the BBC is far, far from useless. It's totally fucking wonderful.

I can never tell if people are being sarcastic with out vocal clues. I didnt say whole of BBc was useless I watch a fair bit and it was only few months ago I was singing praises of teh wonders of teh solar system. I just would rather they spend money on programing rather than what to my mind is pointless technical upgrades. x

I'm not being sarcastic at all, Masie. I'm just a very big fan of the BBC. I've been surprised how the new version of the version of iPlayer is less user-friendly than it was before but everyone fucks up now and again. Recent stuff I've loved: Sherlock, first episode of Him And Her, and the BBC4 docs on caravanning and shipping containers.
