Glasgow as Commonwealth Games host

Post by David Johnson »

Fucking hell, I have just heard that Glasgow will be the next holder of the Commonwealth Games in 2014. And you thought Delhi was bad eh?

Did you see what happened with the building of the Scottish parliament? Due to open in 2001 at an original estimate of between 10 and 40million (vague estimates huh?), the fucker came in more than three years late at a total cost of 414 million.

Would you let this fucking nation run a games, apart from curling, maybe or a how many deep fried Mars bars can you get down your neck? Unless the main stadium is going to be a large marquee, we are fucked at getting the setup done in time.

And as for the general health and hygiene of this lot. The average lifespan is only 23 and that's if they manage to qualify for a liver transplant.

What a fucking shithole.

Sorry if this is offensive to our esteemed Scottish chums, but I tell it like I see it and no way can I be viewed as dealing in moronic, pathetic, ignorant national stereotypes.

Cheers

Keep fishing.
Maybe someone will take the bait.
I find you too tedious to even bother with.

Mr Johnson,

I'll take the bait.

That's a very xenophobic post for someone who claims to be a leftie. Would you write such drivel about black people, homosexuals or the disabled?

Good lad! Well done!

"I find you too tedious to even bother with."

Correct reaction. That is exactly the point.

I am mirroring the views of some of the posters on this forum, but maybe with a target that isn't as frequently hit as some targets like the poor, benefit scroungers.

Off for a drink, bonnie lad.

Cheers

I did not get that it was a piss-take at all from the initial post. Maybe I missed something...

Well done! Be careful if you get talking to any rich people. Make sure you keep your hand on your wallet!

David, I only talk to rich people, well, let's just say I talk to people who work. I don't have time to stand about in dole queues and the like to socialise.
I'd love to have time to share a bottle of White Lightning or Buckfast with these upwardly mobile types on benefits but I'm afraid work commitments simply wont allow it just now.
