If the content is encrypted using an application&algorithm without a backdoor (truecrypt etc) then the only way to decrypt it is by obtaining the password or by brute forcing it (i.e. trying every possible permutation).
Brute forcing a 50 digit password using current hardware would take millions of years.

The scum that trade in child porn need secure passwords and this bloke's was very secure.I should not say he is scum ...he was probably hiding some page three totty from his mum.He was arrested after officers suspected him of trading in child porn.I have no idea why.
