Before you all fill in your census forms its worth considering that the US Patriot Act compels US based companies like Lockhead Martin who will be running it, to hand any and all data they hold over to the US government it requested. I dont find assurances from our side that all the data collected is confidential. It may be as far as you and me getting access to it, but US law compels disclosure.

An American company, subject to the draconian attack on civil liberties that is the Patriot Act, is in charge of the collection of the information you will enter on the 30 page form. Whilst it is in Lockheed Martin's hands it will be theoretically available to the US government. We are assured by HMG that all info is secure. Where have we heard that before? Apart from that L-M are a huge armaments manufacturer, and have a less than clean pair of hands with regards to the behaviour of some of their operatives in Iraq.

I just filled in name and DOB last time, then crossed out or abused the other questions. I think the one that asked about nationality I struck out all the possible answers and wrote "ENGLISH" across it, which of course, wasn't a possible answer on the original choices.
