I don't really understand the round-ball game, but I almost always watch the FA Cup telecast down here on the 'multicultural network' SBS (yes, things English are now considered multicultural in the country you started!). While the actual game itself can sometimes be a bit tedious, I love all the stuff that goes on before hand with the team buses arriving and interviews with past greats etc.
Does anyone else find themselves sucked in by the atmosphere of the build up rather than the main event?
By the way, I think 'City' will win - either Manchester or Stoke.

It was bigger in the 70s.The build up then started at about 10 in the morning with special quizzes. Both channels showed it live at 3pm.

Pity the game it self is boring and only ends 1-0 yawn!
Re: FA Cup - I Love the Lead Up on the Day
Dont know bout anyone else but I thought the "build up" this year was as low key as its ever been. The decision to hold Premier matches on the same day completely devalued the whole thing and as for the match itself - what a drab affair!
Im afraid that the FA Cup is losing its "magic" very fast.

Yes, I agree. Those other games dilute whatever atmosphere is now left. Maybe that's the plan and they want to get rid of it.
