Watched Page 8 on Beeb 2 at 9pm tonight.
It should be on the Iplayer for awhile.
Written and directed by the great playwright, David Hare.
Brilliant!
Jimbo, you'll love it!

Excellent drama and so much talent. Nighy, Gambon and the utterly gorgeous Rachel Weiz. Wonder if Hare had a certain Scottish public schooled person in mind when writing the PM part??

I think you could well be right.
It does seem to have gone very quiet about the stories of Labour government/security forces complicity in torture of terror suspects.
Cheers

PS And as for Rachel Weisz...... lovely, lovely!

I also watched "Page 8"
It's the type of drama that the BBC excels at.
I also watched another excellent BBC film last night in" The Field of Blood"
It's in two parts but should be on the Iplayer.
I only hope that BBC4 is not going to be axed, I find it excellent for specialist music programmes
Maybe a few emails to the BBC might save it.
