I recognise one of the people in it. The blond woman with short cropped hair, there is a close-up on her half way through. She was one of the finalists on that Andrew Lloyd Webber show, where they were trying to find 'Dorothy' to star in 'Over The Rainbow'. But I agree, crap advert. They should bring back Howard, or whatever his name is, from the early adverts. He was brilliant!

I simply can't understand what the ad agency for Halifax is up to. Is it that they think everyone will be tapping their feet at home and saying "Oh look gran, aren't them Halifax folk lovely, just like you and me, not at all like them greedy champagne guzzling, coke snorting hooray Henrys we read about in the news" and then gran gets up and says to everyone, "Come on you lot, get up and let's all do the conga to them loverly 'alifax people", "Ooh gran, you are a one, come on all together now, "we'll be there! we'll be there! just call my name and.........!puke!

Yeah Halifax, I bet you will "be there" when it comes to booting a family out of their house when they've missed a couple of mortgage repayments!
