Some observations about Lizzie day.
Re: Some observations about Lizzie day.
Much as I don't like to piss on the opportunist parade of the republicans I am afraid you can't blame a shite pop concert on the Monarchy, in the same way some of your other loons can't blame the jubilee as an excuse to exploit unemployed people and shipping them to it.
The events, paid for business and private donation were about succession the the throne and far from being erased from memory if you had been arsed to watch the doc featuring William you would have heard him say that his biggest regret was the loss of his Mum.
Ironic that some of the chosen few use British symbolisms to market their product but then attempt to claim that we can't export anything but sadly that just about sums up our republican friends opinions.

As a royalist observer from across the pond......in Europe. The water
pageant thing looked, with all its small boats, its heavy rain, and musicians
playing in steamy-glassed launches, awfully naff !! Sorry, but I hated it.
The carriage ride and church service were suitably splendid. The concert
suitably dated.....though I agree with Mr Wells about that horny milf, Kylie !
As to the Diana comments - Essex Lad is spot on - what the hell has it got
to do with her ? She has been dead a long time. The event was about our
present Queen (not the one we will never have) and it is right, even if I am
not a huge fan of the rather impersonal old gal, to say that after 60 years
as our Soveriegn there was no need to dredge up Charles`s ex ! She gave
us a great lad who will make a great King one day. `Nuff said.
