I guess Max will tell you that the UK will be predominantly Muslim by 2050 so I propose we had better get cracking and bomb the remaining 40 or so predominantly Muslim countries before we turn the bombs on Bradford, Oldham and substantial sections of London etc. etc.

Please Note, maybe you can point us in the direction of a Christian society or state which, as per Islamic Saudi Arabia, allows the perpetrator of such heinous crimes to walk away with a fine.

That's an easy one to answer. As you must know Alex, in many "Christian" societies or states, when clerics raped children frequently and without pity, they just hushed it up so that it didn't come to court at all. That way they didn't have to decide whether a fine, never mind "blood money", a "tut, tut, Father" or a prison sentence was appropriate.

So I have solution keeping within the spirit of Islamic law..we can merrily carpet bomb Islamic countries and pay the handful of survivors left some cash for their blood money and everyone's happy.

Yes, hushing up the rape of potentially hundreds and thousands of children by Catholic clerics so it doesn't come to court is so, so superior to Muslim countries. It's so, so less messy to avoid bringing the cases to court. Ask Savile's victims.

And who pray (geddit!) has done its utmost to keep the current bunch of Saudi rulers and their primitive, literal interpretation of the Koran in power? Could it be the US and UK?

Ah yes our legal system is so, so superior in every way. Justice is always done. Yesterday we had the case of Graham Ovenden, found guilty of abusing child models including getting a child who was having a bath with him to indulge in a sexual act.

So having been found guilty what was the sentence? Fine? No. Blood money? No. Prison sentence? No.

Suspended sentence. Ovenden refused to apologise to his victims and he boasted that as an artist, his sales "hadn't been buggered by this case at all".

Great eh?
