why do people love a lefty???

Post by Von Boy »

Interesting one this...

why can you publicly admit that you're a lefty... but heaven forbid you mentioned that you were a fascist....

Eddy Milliband's family are so proud off their Trotsky roots!!!... why ??

I think in the UK you can be a lefty policeman BUT not a fascist policemen!

Lefties. I've always liked lefties. But I couldn't eat a whole one.

How can you equate being a "lefty"" to a fascist??Are you saying having left wing views is as bad as sharing the same views as nazis?? So Tony Benn,Dennis Skinner views on the world are as bad as Hitler's in your eyes??

The extremes of politics are exactly the same no matter be they right or left.

Comparing tony Ben to hitler is stupid but what's the difference for between hitler and Stalin apart from facial furniture choices.

Hitler and Stalin .. and others .. are about power. National Socialism and Communism were just a vehicle to access power.

This is a meaningless question. For some on here, Gordon Brown would be thought of as a lefty. On the other hand, fascism is associated with the likes of Hitler, the Blitz and the loss of family in World War II.

Maybe in Switzerland it would be viewed as a more sensible question where fascism equated to good, solid income for the Swiss banking system.

Just a little dig about the war!!!!

Having said that the 3 months I had working for the Bank of International Settlements in Basel was one of the most enjoyable contracts overseas that I did. I have many fond memories of a summer in Basel with trips with trips on the amazing integrated transport system to the Jungfrau.

Wonderful!

I cannot disagree re: Jungfrau region...I have spent many a happy time in Wengen & M?rren and having a coffee at the top of the Schilthorn.... stunning views... you sleep bloody well after a day up there!!!!

All I really mean from this post is the "unfairness" of the left being acceptable and nothing on the right being so... my personal view point is the center is normally the best place! you need the right to pull the left back and vice versa....
