Had he been in Texas he would probably have succeeded in his complaint if the case below is anything to go on. Unbelievably a disgruntled punter was found not guilty of shooting an escort who refused to have sex with him on the grounds that she was committing a 'night-time theft'. She died some months later from the injury.

What a heart warming Xmas Eve story. Not!

I note the guy acquitted of murder, made the usual thanks to God and his family.

Pity James Stewart isn't still alive or Hollywood could make a remake of What a Wonderful Life with Stewart in the main role. Theme- Stewart kills an escort on Xmas Eve and gains redemption.

You couldn't make it up.
