I wonder, but I'm just getting a feeling in my bones that something big is going to break very soon in this story.
I've read speculation that the police re-opening things - and not the parents - is part of a strategy to gain information. But not from the usual outside sources which, you would imagine by now after six-plus years, are completely exhausted. It's to gauge the reaction of the parents as police often do when they suspect those who are making the appeals are the very ones guilty of the crime.
Not for one minute am I saying that. I've no evidence about that as much as anyone else reading this.
We all know what crime they are guilty of, however - child neglect by leaving three of them unattended.
Missing Maddie
Re: Missing Maddie
The children had been check at 2105 and then at 2200 so are you saying they had been 'neglected' and that is the 'single' crime that happened here. There is a little girl missing isn't that the crime?
Re: Missing Maddie
Think you could be right as I read somewhere a elderly gentleman smoking a cigar and wearing a lot of gold jewellery was seen jogging through the area.

Gerry and Kate McCann look just like e-fit pictures, this should please Snowy.

Re: Missing Maddie
Amazingly my female friends and colleagues would quite happily lynch both of them. No sympathy whatsoever. As a UK tax payer I am rather peeved on the amount of cash wasted on an oversees investigation. I doubt the Met would be keen on rushing over to say Somalia or Bulgaria on business class every time a blonde kid is spotted on the Algarve. Press wagging the tail yet again.
Call me Daves..
Handy work thus investigation as when he was in opposition he said he'd reopen the case.
Of course Dave Cameron will seize any chance to ride a corpse to power thatchers death, mcanns (of course stabbing them in the back regarding press regulation) and his spazzed up child.

As time has gone on this case has never sat easily with me.
Indeed there is no evidence of a different scenario / timescale but to me extremely strange that despite so much worldwide publicity Maddie has never been found alive or dead.

Maddie was missing.
This is what the McCann's have consistently stated but, as I understand, has never been independent confirmed.

Yep, those e-fit/artist's impressions are interesting to say the least.
And that's all I'm saying - interesting.
And regarding their neglect. Absolutely it was, 100%.
I've been abroad on many occasions with my wife and kids and never, ever would the thought have crossed mine and my wife's minds to leave them, alone, back in the hotel while we went out to a restaurant.
You take the kids with you everywhere unless they are in a regulated holiday club. It really isn't rocket science.
I seem to recall this place in Portugal had a late night cr?che for kids. So why the hell didn't the McCanns and their pals put their children in there?
It was an astonishing piece of parenting that could not even be viewed as a mistake in hindsight.
FFS, you don't require hindsight to see this was simply plain wrong.

Blimey. Apart from the appalling grammar and spelling, what do you mean "ride a corpse to power thatchers (sic) death and are you seriously referring to Ivan Cameron as a "spazzed up child"?

Re: Missing Madeleine
Too expensive for them ? they are Scottish after all.
And Madeleine McCann was never ever ever known as Maddie.
