No it just means I do not have to justify my voting intentions to you anymore than ,say, a Ukrainian?
As for the currency union question, it is Scotland's pound as much as the rest of the UK, if Scotland wants to use it then it is perfectly entitled to.
Of course there are various pros and cons associated with that scenario, however it is not in the gift of the UK treasury to say yes or no.

Well an O/T forum is where people discuss their views. If you post here, but are not prepared to discuss your views and respond to other posts whether for or against, why use a forum?

You are confusing two separate issues:
1. If Scotland want to use the pound sterling they can do without prior agreement with the UK Treasury. For example, Panama uses the US dollar without prior agreement with the US. This is not the SNP preferred option.
2. A currency union with the remainder of the UK is something completely different. In the case of a currency union which is the preferred option of Salmond, not only will Scotland use the pound sterling but the remainder of the UK will be a lender of last resort which means that the remainder of the UK will potentially underwrite the much smaller Scottish economy in the event of financial disaster. This is very much in the gift of the UK treasury to say no to. Just as the UK treasury would say no to a currency union with the EU using the euro. We all know how that one worked out.
Do you understand the difference now?
