O/T Paris
Re: O/T Paris
From experience, the shops to buy films can be found in the Pigalle area of Paris but some of the films are B/W when you get them home, another rue I found of interest was rue St Denis, mainly from the Private film that was shot in one of the establishments there, before I entered the club in rue St Denis I looked to make sure nobody I knew saw me going in !?!

That's because the French use Secam. Secam tapes play in black and white on PAL systems, but seemingly PAL tapes play in colour on Secam systems.

Re: O/T Paris
Do not under any circumstances hand over your card for paying bills out of eyeshot in any establishment in Paris. I got scammed big time by somebody taking an extra inprint and it look a lot of grief to get the dosh back.
Re: O/T Paris
That goes for anywhere including Britain, when in Prague recently my card was out of site for a short time and I was highly concerned about an extra transaction but all is OK now.
