I'm quite new to all this so I would appreciate a little help from the experts!
I was doing a little surfing and on one of the sites it mentioned free membership - FREE NET PASS - to get this pass you still had to give your credit card details even though it was free.
I just wondered if any of you have a FNP or is it just a con and is there a charge?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I can speak for the one you mentioned above but the vast majority of them are cons.
When your trial period ends you will try for ever to cancel or just plain won't be able to or they will just start charging you without your express approval.
You can then go to your card company and issue chargebacks or get your card cancelled but they know that the majority won't bother if the amount is small enough.
Personal advice is - avoid like the plague

The good content offered by free net pass is like most AVS services at best,bloody hard too find.Like porn vids really...lots to see but most are crap.
If you do decide to signup....read the terms & conditions very carefully.Whenever I have signed up for such a product I have always cancelled on the first day...no charges to my c/c as yet

Butsie and Jason, have about got it right, there are various versions of Net Pass, If you feel an undying urge to join, check out the content and if it,s crap do a chargeback, it,s all you can do.

I signed up and cancelled immediately and no charge has ever been made on my card. However, my year's membership has just expired and when I tried to log in I was offered a renewal on a straightforward annual subscription basis, which I've not taken up. I'll probably have a go to see if the freebie route works again.
I found about half a dozen decent Brit girl sites and several other interesting bits'n'pieces.

All wise words above, but personally I'd echo Jason. My experience with joining sites is that basically they're never worth the money and many do make it nigh on impossible to cancel your subscription. I've been down this road and it's a total pain in the arse. My slightly bitter advice would be don't bother joining any site that wants cash off you. Use the free sites and buy films from any of the retailers recommended by forumites.

As someone who runs an adult site I would like to make it clear that that is not quite what I said nor what I meant!
Generally if a site uses a recognised billing company (Globill, IBill, CCBill etc) then you should be OK as your billing is with them and not with the site itself. The problems tend to occur when the billing is done by the site itself or by come obscure payment processor - in that case it can be more difficult to cancel with having to get a new credit card etc.
While on the subject, people (generally) need to realise that it costs people like me to produce web sites and therefore if no one supports them (re you comment above recommeding him not joining any site that wants money off him) how do people expect porn on the internet to progress? If the current trend continues then porn on the net as we know it will die and all we will be left with is recycled crap on sites with millions of popups and other nasty software.
On a final note, why is it that "piracy" of internet content is deemed to be more acceptable than that of VHS/DVD content?

You're right about Web piracy killing off legit sites, but I still think the real issue is once bitten. Most pay-sites just don't deliver the quality of content that they should for the money. Even with better e-billing companies getting involved, recurring bill scams are still a problem, in fact a mate of mine is currently embroiled in one. So IMHO as a punter, where's the incentive to take a chance and invest my hard earneds in a pay-site? Exclusive content? Mmm, maybe.
The bottom line is the porn Web industry can't consistently rip people off and not expect a backlash. We're stupid, but we're not that stupid. It's tough on those people trying to produce good content, but that's the way it is.

Too me the sites that don't deliver value for money are the American style
that always say we have 500,000 pictures,125,000 videos etc etc.
Its true what they say....but they are all old pics & vids.
In the case of the vids they are all streaming(Non-downloadable).Average charges range between USD$40-00 to USD$60-00 a month.
Then you come across a site like which shows you most of what they offer befor you even enter-value for money.Their preview thumbnails pics are better than whats on their site.
As for the billing issue...in my experience if you can't see a website address.....avoid them.
