Another VTO movie can be added to Deborah's listing.
Here is the information:
Title: Heavy Petting
Studio: VTO (#6734)
Director: John Francis & Gerard Hauser
Year: 1991 (the boxcover states 1991 yet on the movie it states 01/92)
Cast: Jessica Bauer, Annie Barclay, Vivian O'Hara (Deborah Wells), Roberto Malone, Jerry Butler, Sean Michaels.
Interestingly Deborah's interracial scene with Sean Michaels shown on the boxcover is not the one shown in the movie. I have seen a couple of other pictures from the scene shown on the front cover, with Deborah wearing white stockings and Sean Michaels the yellow shirt but thus far I have not identified which movie the scene is from. Any ideas out there??

the colonel

Deborah Wells Addition + one question.
Re: Deborah Wells Addition + one question.
Hi The Colonel,
I have made a search on iafd for both Deborah Wells and Sean Michaels but none of the movies listed seem to match that scene. The European movies were I have seen Sean Michaels were directed by Sascha Alexander.

Thanks for looking Ben. Unfortunately the iafd in most cases only covers european movies that were released in the states. For whatever reasons very little of the VTO catalogue was released over there (Foxy Lady parts 1,2 & 3). This is strange really considering VTO released a good number of US titles in Germany, you would have thought there had been some sort of reciprocal arrangement here?
Ideally I need to locate fellow collectors who have some of these movies. Fortunately one German collector has helped me greatly in tracking down titles. Also I have bought a number of VTO magazines which provide excellent information on titles including a picture of the front cover. I hope to go through the magazines and post the covers including movie details to assist Alec in updating the egafd.

If it were only so simple....
In the 1980's a few hard-core titles from Germany and France were released in the USA (SENSATIONAL JANINE, a handful of Olinka movies, a few of the FOXY LADY titles), and that was about it.
Then a decade later, Private started releasing their titles through Odyssey which went belly up a few years back.
Then a few years ago, VMD struck an agreement with Wicked and most of the recent VMD titles were released in the USA (they contain safe-sex scenes).
In-X-Cess and some other distributors released some Italian films in the USA (Moana, Rocco Siffredi, etc) some years back, but they were mostly drab productions (awful prints).
But to cheer you up a bit, Pink'o' has lately been releasing their titles in North America, and they are not bad at all (these films have english dialogue, where actors and actresses basically speak their parts in badly accented English, but which means they have a high interest in the English market).
I think one of the basic reasons is that foreign distributors don't want to spend the money to dub the films (like Private does sometimes to awful results). There are other reasons, which are conjectures on my part, but I don't want to go into that for fear of being flamed.
