How old does a model have to be to do nude photos? Im not sure if it is 16 or 18. Im sure I read somewhere that it was 16 with parental permission but im not sure so I thought I would ask the guys in the business as you lot will obviously know

If you intend to publish the material, the age is 18 years as no outlet will accept model releases under the age of age.

As I have pointed out on at least two previous occasions Penthouse did in the late 1980`s. Linda Lusardi in open leg poses aged 16. Paula Yates did the same type of shoot published in Penthouse aged 15 (she told them she was 16). I dont know wether either girl had parental consent.
As JJ quite correctly points out its not illegal to shoot a 16 year old (unless of course you shoot her with a firearm). A release form is a contractual precaution to prevent photographers being sued if for example the girl claims she did not consent to publication. And a release form signed by an under 18 is meaningless in law and cant be relied upon to protect the photographer in the same way that a credit agreement between a retailer and a 17 year old could not be relied on by the store if the 17yr old defaulted on payments(unless the goods were "necessarys"-outdated bit of legal bollocks for you there). Also some countries forbid the publication of photos of under 18s so if a photographer wants to sell the shots abroad he will use over 18s

Marcus. I am suitably humbled that you took on board my suggestion of naming the furry one Chairman Miaow. Although in these days of political correctness Chairperson Miaow would be deemed less sexist.
Regarding the "Miaow Photos" trial. I can CATagoricaly say this would result in a conviction if you use my lot as they are all a bit odd and usually hungover. And such an unlucky verdict might result in a stay at a CATagory "C"(c for cat) prison somewhere near CATford. I cant think of any more cat puns but I will give you some advice for free - never shave your pussy at this time of year unless you have bought her a coat to wear when she goes out.

So...technically....you could do naughty pics of a girl aged at least 16. You just won't be able to sell them overseas and there's nothing to stop the model from sueing you if she decides to. Complicated...
