I have a copy of a heavily edited (to softcore) dubbed in English film that was originally a French language film.

The story revolved around music playing whenever the men got an erection. In English it was based around the town of "Bentpecker", although I suspect this was a name aimed at a British audience.

It is a Tanagra Production and the director is given as Michel Francois.
The castlist is given as:
Dominique Aveline -- male

Christine Laura

Nadja Santa -- might be Nadia Santes?
Nicole Veline -- might be Nicole Velna

Anyone got any ideas?

It's this film:

which was originally released in March 1978 as LES ZIZIS EN FOLIE
(1977) produced by Tanagra Productions and directed by Patrick Aubin (aka Jean-Claude Roy).
The film was hardcore, and the name of the village in the original French version was "Bitembois" (bite meaning dick, and bois meaning wood)

I forgot to mention the film had two other altenate titles: LES MALES EN FOLIE and SEX CRAZY.
The cast was made up of:
Alban, Christine Laura, Raoul Retur, Nadia Santos, Danielle Troger, Jean-Louis Vattier, Max Vonat

I forgot in my original post to give the British title which was "Pleasuredome".

I note that on the EGAFD entry for the film there is no entry for Christine Laura and also that you don't mention any participation by Nicole Velna.

I notice that you credit Nadia Santos who is listed on egafd as Nadine Scant.

Therefore that would imply Nadia Santes = Nadine Scant.

Sorry I can't be any clearer. I have not seen this film. The cast names I have given come from film reviews and from other sources who have taken the names off the film screen. I don't know whether the print you have seen differs substanbtially from the French hc one.

I have an old (and very poor) copy of this film, dubbed in italian language.

In italian version, entitled "Contessa, contessina e cameriere" (in english: "The Countess, The Count's Daughter and the Servant") the h/c scenes have been heavily and roughly cut off, in such a way that all h/c details and close ups have been removed.

If I well remember, Alban Ceray plays the servant.

I'd like so much to find the uncut h/c version...
