La Prof d'Anglais is the film Easy (1978) but I don't know the other 2. They are probably also American and not by Tranbaree, not sure what Alpha France is trying to pull off here.

I suddenly came up with the great idea to look in VHS Survivors and found this for Les Soir?es d'une ?pouse pervertie but the credits seem fake so I wouldn't trust the fact that Tranbaree supposedly directed it either.
I also found La Prof which confirms that it's the film Easy.

"Les Soir?es d'une ?pouse pervertie" is "A Scent of Heather" by Philip Drexler.
"Adolescentes a Louer" is "Tangerine" by Gary Graver.
"Easy" is by Anthony Spinelli/Sam Weston.
Thus, none are by Tranbaree (at best, he might have supervised the dubbing)
A possible reason for his credit might be the taxes put on foreign X-rated films in France at the time. With Tranbaree's name attached, the distributor might have gotten a domestic, i.e. better, deal. My two cents.

I recently quickly compared the Alpha France DVD with La D?cha?n?e with the Herzog DVD and it was indeed 17 min or so shorter. But hardly any scenes seemed to be missing, most were just shortened versions. All the sex seemed to be intact though and the picture quality of the Alpha France was much better than the Herzog DVD. Still annoying that they cut since the triple ones are the best deal because all their dvds are so expensive.

These movies are american, namely "A Scent of Heather" (aka "Les soir?es d'une ?pouse pervertie"), starring Veronica Hart, "Easy" (aka "La prof' d'anglais"), with Jessie St James, and "Tangerine" (aka "Adolescentes ? louer") with Juliet Anderson. To make them look french, the editor added still views with inscriptions in french (such as road signs, street-plates etc.). All the credits have been deleted, including the names of the directors : Philip Drexler, Anthony Spinelli and Gary Graver (Rob McCallum). That doesn't mean that these movies are bad, but how to qualify such a proceeding ??

Yes, most of them are shortened this way, but there are a few examples where they've cut whole scenes. I can't remember which titles, but one of them was an Edwige Faillel scene if I remember correctly.

How to qualify such a proceeding ?
Very simple since a French word is dedicated, in movie French slang, to such an operation : "caviardage".
Some caviardage were basic and other very complex and sophisticated : Georges Fleury was introducing more original French sequence in the US material than Burd Tranbaree who was introducing sometimes only some shots and not real sequences with a new French casting.
The result can sometimes be a new movie, a strange and surralistic mix of USA and France : LA GRANDE SAUTERIE, LE SEXE ? LA BOUCHE, LES LIMEUSES, LE FEU AU SEXE are the great exemples that come to my mind. Both original US movies and new French sequences are good.
It is by the way interesting to note that Alpha France was not the only French distributor to do it but was the one to do it with the most regular care and interesting result.
About the cause of this operation : already said and written one hundred times in France but in Europe and USA not too much people seem to know it except the real "connaisseurs" : cause was a strong V.A.T. on imported hardcore, very high one (300.000 FF at that time was the fee for being convicted of having imported one single movie) which was voted around 1976 then applied then more or less respected... as you can see witness today !
Anyway, when video media came around 1980 to larger public, the import V.A.T. law was not applied to video because it was a law designed for shot-on-print movies by the Centre National du Cin?ma which was not yet aware that video were sometimes projected in theaters as movies shot-on-print were....
