Legal Req's for recruiting somebody into a Porn fi

Dear All,

Given that this website appears to be used by many industry figures, perhaps somebody could give me their experiences on recruiting talent for porn movies.

Specifically, I would like to know what laws must be adhered to with regard to getting somebody to appear. Obviously, they must be over 18, but are there any other restrictions, for instance are there any Obscenity or Soliciting laws which are broken as a result of a person placing an advertisement for talent, regardless of whether a monetary figure is mentioned.

In all cases I am referring to UK law. We have all seen ads in Exchange & Mart etc for XXX models, so I would be interested to know how one can legally advertise without having Mr Plod kicking down the front door!

You can legally advertise for girls as long as the advert is within the acceptable boundaries of taste for the publication or medium you choose - certified hardcore porn is legal in the UK so of course you can advertise looking for models.

However, as I have discovered, lots of newspapers wont accept ads for XXX models even though they will accept them for escorts! Strange....

For XXX Website content.
(You must be over 18)
FEMALES ONLY PLEASE !

Well, guess what ? She got 80+ replies...
All from MEN !

90% of whom, were supposedly ringing upon the 'behalf'
of there girlfriends/wifes... Needless to say, NOT ONE
SINGLE FEMALE was booked via the advert...
