I think EGAFD has a BIG, BIG PROBLEM:
Since number of films it's huge now on this database, there are a lot of RUBBISH as COMPILATIONS totally useless and created by labels only at purpose of selling more copies, but that nothing has to do with PURE HISTORY of hard-core videos and cinema.
For example:
Mark before on Moana topic, said that DVD published by FM Video with title Moana VS John Holmes it's intriguing...but I think this DVD it's 100% a FAKE and a COMPILATION, since it is impossible Moana had something to do with John Holmes, since there is no any movie, as far as I know, which has as protagonist Moana and Holmes, or a film where those actors appears in the same movie, even without having sex toghether. So, in my opinion this, as many other DVD are FAKES and COMPILATION very squallid, created with only purpose of selling copies to end-user. But EGAFD should distinguish very well when it's listed an ORIGINAL movie and a COMPILATION in his database, so that customers and users can be warned at moment of purchasing a film.
Second problem: THE DOUBLES.
There are a bunch of titles which appears in DOUBLE in EGAFD database.
For example, all movies in Luana Borgia's list, taken from USA titles, are just same films as the one published from FM Video. Same story for Moana Pozzi. Also, the Teeny Series of MAGMA, it is very confusing, since, it should be much better and cleaner if there is a list with all Magma Teeny series and then each title beside it. Es:

Teeny Series, RENT A TEENY
.....and so on...
please some of you let me know if you agree with me about these topics.

The database is an 'organic' thing, growing and changing as information is
acquired and then either verified, or dismissed as inaccurate. In this it is
almost wholly reliant on the [hopefully precise] contributions of those who
have actually seen the titles- in this it is no different [but rather better, one
hopes] than such online resources as Wikipedia: nothing in the database
should be treated as absolute gospel.
I get as angry as you do about scams and alternative titles, but I don't
have unlimited funds [or indeed time] for purchase of questionable items
[even if all of them were widely available, which they are not- the Magma
titles you referred to being a case in point].
If you see a problem, and you have the source-material to hand, you're
perfectly at liberty of course to send the revised information to egafd who
will then gladly incorporate it.

egafd cannot know whether or not a movie is a compilation, so it is up to people sending the information to mention it. It is sometimes difficult to know if it is a compilation or real movie, because as Mark pointed out some producers shoot a series of scenes and then put them together to make different movies. So, the best thing to do is to let egafd know when you see a compilation featured as a movie.
Italy is not the only country where this mix happens. DBM in Germany is used to release a movie and then one or two compilations including scenes from that movie. What is worse with DBM is they cut the beginning and the end of the scenes.

People in the porn business have been doing compilations and re-titling movies for years, in the USA and elsewhere. Just to give you an example: Leisure Time Time in the USA in the 1990's, used to take a movie, put new art work and box covers, remove one or two scenes and replace them with scenes of a new actress they were trying to push (who was not featured in the original movie). Sometimes the title was the same and sometimes the title was changed.
IAFD.com has dumped a lot of the compilation titles it used to list in the beginning, but there is still some stuff there that could be removed.
EGAFD (nor IAFD.com) is not in a postion to know which is or is not a compilation or re-titled movie. It is up to (learned) viewers of such material to bring it to the attention of these databases, so that corrections can be made.

Only a handful of Traci Lords films were re-issued in the USA, with her scenes removed:
=SISTER DEAREST was re-issued by Dreamland as BACK TO CLASS
=DEEP INSIDE TRACI was re-issued as DEEP INSIDE TRACEY by Cinderella with Tracey Adams replacing Traci.
=KINKY BUSINESS re-issued and re-edited with new footage replacing the Traci Lords scenes
=PORN IN THE USA was already a compilation tape, and it was re-issued without the Traci scenes.
=TALK DIRTY TO ME III was re-edited and reissued as THE NEW TALK DIRTY TO ME III with Lisa De Leeuuw replacing the Traci scenes.
=TRACY IN HEAVEN was re-edited and reissued by Western Visuals without the Traci scenes
There may be more, but can't remember them all. It probably was a bit difficult to remove Traci scenes especially if she interacted (not necessarily in the sexual sense) with other perfomers in the movie.

I see...you'r simply great, Len 801, since you can manage to write filmography of most porn actrices around. What it's surprising to me is that you know in dept all movies and film's covers for all European actices, which shouldn't be your job.
However, thanks for your suggestion. I am indeed very interested in ORIGINAL movies only of Christy Canyon as well, but here in Italy these movies are almost impossible to find (for example I am looking for a movie since long time : "I dream of Christy" ,but I cannot find it anywhere). Any suggestion?
