You HAVE to throw Ben Dover in there, you just HAVE too! AND if Freddie Mercury (Zanzibar) can make the top 100, Im sure Pascal (Belgium) is in with a shout as well.

C'mon, the "100 Greatest Britons" is complete bollocks. They didn't include Linda Lusardi (lol)

The irrational inclusion of so many contemporary ephemerals has left me rather depressed at our stupidity as a nation.
Darwin and Newton, whose ideas shook the world......and Robbie Williams. Good grief.
Almost makes me want such people to have their franchise revoked..........or perhaps their existence.

Aleister Crowley making the top 100 made me laugh. Makes Ben look like a choirboy.

Well, what about the guy who made all this possible: Tim Berners-Lee, who came in at 99.

As long as you include Babbage and Turing, then.

What bothered me was the inclusion of a certain simpering clothes horse in the top ten. Yeah, like before her no one in Britain knew how to look doe-eyed, or sell copious copies of the Express and Mail.

Sorry to any royalists, but I mean, really . . .

Yep: if it had been a list of the top 100 greatest whingers, or drains on the Exchequer..........
