Looking for the title of a 1970s German film

Post by skatschko »

I have recently re-discovered an old VHS of my collection, that completely lacks opening (and end) credits.

It's a 1970s german sex comedy about the sexual adventures of two friends (Peter and Paul ? One of them is played, I think, by a younger looking Sepp Gneissl), who get acquainted with each other at the railway station, while sending both wife and kids away for the summer holidays. One of them pretends to be ill, in order to avoid going to work, and their sexual escapade (in many episodes, involving a hilarious scene at a hospital) is bound to begin.

Could someone be of any help? Thanks in advance.

Many thanks, beutelwolf, for this prompt answer.

Do you have any idea about who the other male protagonist, playing along Sepp Gneissl, might be ?

Not really, only a few unconfirmed sources.
He is also the lead in Mit Gurke und Banane (aka "Verr?ckt nach steilen Kurven"). There are two male names that occur in some sources associates with these films which I cannot attribute otherwise.

One is Steve Burgess, the other Peter Frankenheim. The problem with the latter name is that it appears in relation to three movies, and there is no one appearing in all three films other than Sepp Gneissl (who is credited under his own name anyway). !confused!

If someone could shed any light on the issue who these two names are possibly belonging to, that would be an info gratefully received...
