.....but when the Unknowns database is added to/updated, the stills shown must be from the movies. Does this mean that somebody has these from which captures are taken? If so why can't the movies be uploaded via file sharing systems like Rapidshare or torrent? I've never seen some of the more rare movies on the net even though there are screencaps in the unknowns section.Or,like I say, am I just being naive?

I can only speak personally, but given the amount of time it takes to
research and cap a title for addition to the d/b here, the thought of
spending even more time uploading the entire film gives me the shudders.

There's also the thorny issue of file-sharing technically being piracy [see
FAQs here, and various elsewhere]......

Appreciate the moot point on file sharing jj but it goes on all the time. Why haven't some of the rarer items surfaced?

I assume in part because the older/rarer stuff is only available on VHS
which adds the additional complication of DVD-transfer. Vintage Erotica
Forum is a good source of older material for d/l, as are the dedicated
binaries- you might have some luck on P2Ps such as emule. I don't use
them much myself due to time-constraints and the wild inconsistencies in
file-format/quality; and the inherent dangers of the latter method I'm sure
I need not repeat.

Thanks m8.Thought it might be to do with transferring from 8mm and VHS. Shame really. The older ones really were/are the best.
