SAP VHS

Post by candela »

After the VTO list, I've also created a SAP list. The SAP releases seem a lot less interesting as they only seem to offer new (mostly English) aliases for Italian and French movies already in EGAFD.

The list is also much smaller than the VTO list but I don't know how many are missing. Strangely enough, some holes in the list seem to be covered by SYC (Sarah Young Communications) releases. For example 8001/8002, 8503/8504/8505. Anyone knows whats up with that?

Pop over to VEF and ask the man himself ? you may get an answer (though I can't guarantee that). Hans Moser/Sascha Alexander (under the user name themaster) has been posting in the the Sarah Young thread there:

When I was researching Sarah Young video covers some time ago, I also found the SAP/SYC prefixes very confusing. In the end I discarded the prefix and went by just the number. I found that some videos started off with SAP prefixes, then as time went on changed to SYC; and some even then changed to MV (MoserVision), even though the number stayed the same ? see the examples for The Sarah Young Collection Pt. 2.

Just to confuse matters even more, this title is sometimes just Sarah Young 2 or The Collection 2.

I've seen some of the Helen Duval 9? Days with all three prefixes.

The number for Memories Of A Lifetime is 2015.

A long time ago I downloaded lots of thumbnails of SAP/SYC/MV video covers from the old Sarah Young/Hans Moser shop before it closed. Although small, you can increase their size quit a bit and still read the details on them. The picture number corresponds to their Bestell-Nummer.
