In my experience the quality of 'fantasy' make-up/costumes is
in inverse ratio to that of the sex, probably reflecting the
director's main purpose; good make-up usually means that the
production-team is attempting to make a 'fantasy' flick which
may or may not contain explicit sex, in which case the latter
inevitably suffers.
A classic exception might be Marilyn Jess in
'Femme Objet';
she looks stunning as an automaton and the sex is pretty damn'
hot but you couldn't take her for a real cyberwoman for a moment
....from the tenor of your post I guess that what you're after
is something more along the lines of
Rob Black's output [which,
4WIW, usually leaves me cold- and the costumes I find laughable].
Such titles as
'Extra-terrestre',
'Sex Trek 5' and Private's
'Uranus Experiment' trilogy illustrate a range of directorial
aspirations and production-values.
'Sexuelle Monstrosit?ten 2'
is a good example of how bad both make-up and sex can be in
this sub-genre.....
this [one-off] scene from
'Sk?na Svenska Juveler' is an
above-average effort in a poorly-contested field:
