As Petitdoigt pointed it out, according to the new periodical "CinErotica", Michel Jean has been identified as Michael Goritshcnig. This person, probably German or maybe Austrian, has a few credits in IMDB. He worked mainly as a cinematographer. A Google search offered almost nothing. Any further information would be welcomed.

The name Goritschnig is more common in Austria than in Germany. But there are about a dozen phone book entries of that name in Hamburg, and he's probably from there.

And something else: I found a newspaper article about his company VCC.

Amongst other things, the article gives his age as 57, but the article was published 30/5/2003, so he should be 62 now.
