Hi everyone in this forum. I'm a newcomer and firstly i'd like to thank you for the IDs I already did just reading you in these months.
I have a lot of pictures to ID on my hard disk and I intend submit them to your attention. I have downloaded them in more than 10 years, especially in the second half of the Nineties, always from free sites; so i have good reasons to believe that they are free from copyright, but i'm not totally sure, 'cause i cannot be sure that those sites respected the copyright's laws. So, before to post any pictures, i have some question: is there any risk in posting pictures in this way? is there any administrator of the site who can previously control my pictures and eventually remove the ones who are under copyright? is there any way for me to previously discover if the the pictures are under copyright?
Thank you
I hope to have not been to boring

A lot of pictures to ID
Re: A lot of pictures to ID
Do you just wish to post the pics for EGAFD to include them in performer's filmography, or to request people to ID them.
If the first, EGAFD administrators would be better suited to answer, although the rules have been explained several times in this forum in that EGAFD prefers to put up good quality screencaps taken from actual movies to avoid legal problems. For high quality pics taken from photo shoots these normally would be covered by copyright (regardless of where you took them from) and unless EGAFD is able to obtain some type of consent (which in may cases would be difficult if impossible) it may not be possible to use them, because of the legal ramification.
If the pics you intent to post deal with your request to identify the perfomer(s) I do not believe there is a problem, as no commercial monetary transaction is taking place (for trading or charging users to access and download them) and that these pics are mainly being used for identification purpose ONLY.

4WIW that's broadly my interpretation, too.
Don't post TOO many pics in one go- spread them over a few
posts to prevent readers [well... me, anyway] getting 'ID-fatigue'.

Re: A lot of pictures to ID
Thank you, Len and jj. I don't intend to post many pictures at the same time. And I confirm that I want just to identify the girls, without other purposes. Soon I will send the first post (I hope to be able) and you can say me if it's ok or not.
