La Derniere Vamp (1994,VMD)

Post by Len801 »

=Aside from the female cast listed in EGAFD database, there are 3 males: Christopher Suss, Andrea Nobili and Tao.
=I saw this movie (VHS, VMD french dubbed version) back in spring of 1995. So EGAFD release date of 1996 in inaccurate and it proably was produced-released in Europe in 1994.
=I do not recall whether the VHS version was widescreen, but the recent DVD reissue is. I do not know whether it was originally shot on film on widescreen format, or whether the DVD reissue has cropped the frame to make it appear it is widescreen.
=Both the VHS and DVD versions I saw are 80 minutes long, but in both versions the last scene seems to have been severely edited, and I am not sure why. The scene involves a 3-some which begins with Andrea Nobili (an executive named Arturo who is trying to market waterbeds, which Deborah Wells has agreed to promote) with Jean Bryant, and soon Arturo invites a third person onto the big bed, who appears to be feminine but looks suspiciously like a trannie. EGAFD indicates the film features a shemale named Lory. I have to conclude Lory is this person. The editing is such that even when Nobili screws Lory doggie style, Lory's sexuality is not seen and Nobili probably is condomless. Only for a brief millisecond when Lory is seen flat on her back, Bryant appears to be sucking something between his/her legs which suspiciously loooks a dick, but that is as close as it gets in revealing that Lory is a shemale. My question is, is that how the movie was released cut and edited in this way (in Italy, France, other parts of Europe), or was VMD perhaps being a bit squeamich on not wanting to show a she-male in a 3-way with a male and a female, and released it France chopped up this way?

4WIW I have this on DVD but haven't looked at if for a long time.
My notes have a TS listed.

I have to base myself on notes I kept of the (French, VMD) VHS version I saw several years ago, and the DVD reissue which VMD recently put out.
I saw no "Lory" in the movie credits at the beginning of the movie.
I am not sure how "Lory" was arrived at, unless who contributed to the movie info to EGAFD admin, was familiar with this trannie.
To be frank, when I first saw the VHS version over a decade ago, I knew there was something awfully funny with this performer, they way "she" looked, moved and the coy way she moved in doggie position to be fucked by Nobili. "She" only partly lowered her panties, coyly avoiding showing the naughty bits (hanging between her legs). My conclusion was, the director was trying to be "daring" by having a trannie in the scene, but at the same time went out of his way in not showing it very clearly. The editing also seemed to suggest (at least in the last phase of the scene) that severe editing occurred, at least when the trannie is on her back and is being blown by Bryant.
So JJ, is your version the VMD French-language version, or a German or Italian version, and is the last scene unedited/uncut or the chopped job VMD has been marketing (both in VHS and DVD)? By the way, I checked the running time in several French on-line distributors (including VMD) and they all give a running time of 80 minutes (DVD reissue).

A very old friend died of cancer on Wednesday morning and I'm
still [supposed to be] on my training course, but gimme a couple
of weeks and I'll dig out the DVD.
