I heard that on occasion Japanase porn stars (female) would be flown to California to shoot some porn with US porn performers, and US porn performers (mostly male) going there to shoot movies. Not on occasion but regularly, they go to L.A. to shoot gangbang movies with kokujin. It started to become a huge craze after the success of Akira Watase's Black Semen in LA back in 2002. You can also occasionally see White American female performers (and to a much lesser extent, black ones) having sex with black men in gangbang scenes with African American males and Japanese females. In all these years, I can remember only one scene that featured a White American male performer in AV who was present as a miscellany in an otherwise 'Black on Japanese' film. Now, there are also some black fellas who are resident in Japan and became staple performers for that type of AV, particularly in 'Black Rape' videos.

There is another type of "interracial" the Japanese shoot in LA, with Japanese male performers and White American females (one was even an AV Open entry) but these are limited in comparison to Black male-Japanese female thing because most people simply prefer to see Japanese girls in Japanese AV. However, there exists also an even more limited number that features African American females (like Marie Luv) with Japanese men.

On the other hand, the last prominent American performer I know who went to Japan to 'appear' (well, this is a weird story because he acts as a body double!) was Don Fernando for Traci Takes Tokyo in 1986. There is, of course, Ed Powers' Tight Shots: Ed Goes to Japan stuff from 1994 but I have to consider that 'debutantes' thing as another genre though followed at times by some American director/performer aspirants of lower profile.

about structural linguistics.
