Given the profusion of comps. on the database, is there any way
they could be distinguished in future? Say, by entries in a
different colour?

My point is aptly illustrated by Perla Mazza's oeuvre, discussed
elsewhere recently: of the titles on her page there are five
bold-face entries but only one original soutce- the other four
are all comps. or retitlings.

Perla's case is an interesting one. After a successful film, she completely disappeared. There were then some rumours that she came from a wealthy family and they found about it and so on. I, being exposed to extremely absurd 'gimmicks' and straight lies of the porn industry for many years, give this story little credibility. However, if it is really true, also given the case of Luce Caponegro, it's manifest that Italians have a very intriguing bourgeoisie.

a late scion of the grande famiglia?
Our Royal Family has hundreds of skeletons in their collective

If Greeks of Hellas were ever 'perverts', they had nevertheless meagre means to live it. On the other hand, Greeks of Magna Graecia (Greek settlements on the Italian peninsula and Sicily) were far more prosperous and they were almost always willing to introduce their Latin compatriots to that dolce vita.
