oh yes! I have quite a lot of vintage porn movies, which have used any porn picture as cover! It is a very irritating practice.
Many of my friends have made the similar experience!
It was often done by porn movie companies in the past.

But to repeat the question: do you know the woman?

I was just jesting about box cover art work. I have been watching porn for a long time, and the practice of putting something on the front or back of the VHS/DVD box cover that is not in the film in US or EURO porn, retitling, and what have you, have been around forever and it is still being done.
With regards to your ID question, I don't know the woman, but from the physical looks of John Holmes I would say it is very early vintage, quite likely late 1970's. It is possible the photo comes from a photo shoot (Holmes and other in the porn business did a lot of that at the time) and she may not have done hc feature films.

I do not understand your answer. When I click "this", an IAFD-Film is shown but not a picture of an actress. Who do you mean by "likeliest iafd-lited candidate"?

Or do you mean it might be the film out of which the cover photo - see first "answer" on my thread - had been taken?

boxcover shows Gloria Leonard, then thiat title might be the source of the pic.
