Richard Darbois is not French but Canadian. He was born in 1951, by the way.

Just for the record, I am not responsible for the note (as well as for the one on Alban Ceray)...!whistle!
Re: Richard Darbois's nationality
It does point up the distinction between fluid 'nationality' and the rather less
arbitrary 'country of birth'.... and a single term seldom suffices; I always think
of archetypal Brits Joanna Lumley and Cliff Richard as 'Anglo-Indian', for example : -)).

Re: Richard Darbois's nationality
You've got that right, jj! Richard Darbois should rather be stated as "French-Canadian". The "Qu?b?cois" won't be pleased, though... !grin!

We can re-edit it after a possible secession, when the term Qu?b?cois signifies a nationality on its own right.

To them, of course, it already does : -))
The rest of Canada merely speaks French with a VERY strong accent.

It rather sounds like a 'sub-national' category to me.
For example, Barcelona is the centre of Spanish porn industry and many porn actors in Spain are Catalans. Would it be legit to list them as Catalans?
