No, and anyway - Renate is a fairly common girls' name in Germany. Karin's "Renate" part was played wearing a blond wig BTW.
The only common characters for the Schulm?dchen-Report movies were Dr. Bernauer (played by G. Kieslich) and the reporter (played by Friedrich von Thun). Even regarding those there was no consistency: Kieslich a different role in one of the later films, and in part 4 the reporter was played by Manfred Schott. Karin G?tz herself played twice a character called Elfi in the series, but it was not supposed to be the same girl either.
