There are a lot of rumors about her I read, that I don't know really what could happened.

Rumor number 1: she took drugs and commited suicide.

These are the rumors I heard, or read throughout the years. I also heard she had alcohol problems.

IIRC another rumour said a second person [BF? Pimp? Dealer??] was involved.

After the initial reports there seems to have been no further news and I have
no idea whether the police eventually closed the case. [although I guess from
the lack of fresh info. that they did, ruling it an 'accident'].

Additionally, the English-speaking public is not very keen on such subtleties. That's why the term ethnicity has easily become a euphemism for race and ethnic came to mean 'non-white', although these are definitely abuses of the proper terminology.
