Nobody knows her 'real' name, AFAIK; the story goes that she was given the
nickname 'pomodoro' [tomato], possibly by Malone, because she blushed so easily.
She also often wore large cherry- [or tomato-]shaped hair-grips.
She is always claimed as Italian but I've not seen much real evidence either way.

Sorry for hijacking the thread a little; Len and I normally do this to zebrafink's
posts, but as she seems to be 'on holiday' at the moment we seem to have
temporarily settled on another victim... as an apology, here's a photo of the two

Yeah we do go (shamelessly) off topic from time to time, and I apologize if this umrattles the mods and others who frequent this forum.
As for Miss Pomodoro, I read a bio some time back in an Italian website (I don't recall the link), and for what it is worth, I will summarize what was said:
=she supposedly was born in Hungary around 1969.
=a female friend told her there was money to be made in Italy in nude modeling, so she decided to go there and try it out.
=She posed at first for such magazines like "Playmen" and returned to her native Hungary.
=Later she was introduced to Riccardo Schicchi at Diva Futura (who was already handling Cicciolina) who quickly hired her.
=Miss Pomodoro supposedly got her porn/model name from one of her photo layouts for "Playmen".
=she qucikly became popular, but had a falling out with Schicchi and decided to try her luck in Germany with Teresea Orlowsky and her VTO productions, where she worked under the name of "Sandra".
=From there she went to work in the USA, mostly for Intropics, Zane and Caballero.


To what extent much of this this is true I don't know (i.s. about her Hungarian origins), since I have not seen any of her Italian movies with direct sound, I don't know how good her Italian was, but much of everything else seems to rind true. If anyone else has other reliable info about her, please post.

I should add that apparently she abandoned her career in 1993 when she married a US airline stewart.

Pomodoro and Cicciolina only have walk-on parts. Moana is the main focus, seconded
by Ida Fabry and Kristina King.

Thanks Len and your friend for your help and the nice photo of Sandra as she is called. No I don't get offended at all to joke a little bit its good and it kills the day, so carry on i am with you.
