80s films with orgy scenes, recommendations?

My first porno was Inside Marilyn (1985) with Olinka and that amazing orgy scene at the end. I couldn't get enough of it aged 15!

Can anyone recommend any films of a similar vein (80s, shot on film, French/German) with orgy scenes? Modern ones shot on video are fine but lack that special oomph.

A lot of the golden age porn of the 70s and the 1980's (from the USA and Europe) had orgy scenes (however you wish to define them).
You only need to look through some of the filmographies at IAFD of some of the stars that interest you and look at the scene breakdown to see who is featured in them. EGAFD on occasion may have some information about particular scenes as well for the older titles.
Since orgy scenes do nothing for me, I normally don't watch them or just fast forward through them.

almost as universally terrible. A bunch of close-ups of unidentifiable bits of
anatomy belonging to unidentifiable persons [and/or animals], preferably shot in
a dimly-lit room by a cinematographic incompetent. And things haven't much
improved since.....

If you MUST indulge these wanton orgy-filmers [who ought really to merit corporal
punishment, and be limited by law to filming no more than six persons per scene]
you could try the one in 'Body Love'. The participants are spatially separated,
somewhat, and headshots are often married to body-shots. And it's got Catherine
Ringer as the focus....

I never understood the logic of an orgy scene in porn (usually defined as "A wild party, esp. one involving excessive drinking and unrestrained sexual activity"), as there is usually very little if excessive drinking, as for "unrestrained sexual activity" so would generally a b/g scene.
I do not understand why such people like Rocco SIffredi continue to make these gang-bang/orgy scenes with dozens of female/male participants: 3 seconds here, 10 seconds there, a view of an ass here, someone grabbing a breast, a dick pounding a asshole, someone jerking off on someone's mouth/ass/stomach.
Is the set-up and execution of the orgy scene supposed to get us (the audience) more aroused? No clue, and I wonder whether anyone has done any critical study on this ...
Are we supposed to understand that for either the rental or acquisition fee of the tape/DVD we are supposed to believe we are getting more bang (sorry for the pun) for the buck? And if the orgy scene features pretty much the same performers that we have seen in other scenes in the movie (either before of after the "orgy scene") what is the purpose, so that we can see them all in action at the same time in the same room? Does the change of partners during the orgy scene increase our arousel level: i.e. one guy or one gal fucking and fucking several other people? Not clear to me either.
I remember a gigantic orgy scene in an early Rocco Siffredi movie, with people dressed in Roman costumes (I recall a large swimming pool), I could not follow for the life of me what was going on.

I assume the 'more bang....' logic applies. The Rocco [and Clark] 'reverse' GBs
come across to me as little more than ego-strokes for rapidly-ageing performers.

I'm not against orgies per se, just the terrible way they're usually filmed.
VTO seemed to have the right idea when they filmed three or more couples in
the same room, but more as separate scenes intercut- at least that way one got
a good-ish look at all the girls, providing they were allotted similar time in the
editing-suite.

But we digress...... 'La Petite ?trang?re' has an orgy which I found enjoyable,
and is otherwise well worth a watch.

As mentioned by others, orgy scenes were common in early porn flicks, in French ones almost compulsory, epsecially at the end of the film. I would agree that most of them are pretty pointless.

A couple of good ones are the following: in Verlorene Eier, there is a prime example how to make good use of an orgy at the editing stage. In Der Junge mit der Tiefensch?rfe we have the rare example of a naturally developing orgy.

I like them because of my first porno as stated above, I like the idea of people wantonly, greedily exchanging partners, I like following the progress of certain girls during the scene and, as I've been to a few myself, it brings back memories

Interesting, that: I can trace my love of nylons back to one specific incident in
my early teens. I didn't cotton on to the connection till about 15 years later.

I think I was about the same age (possibly 14) when I raided my dads secret stash of pirate VHS's tapes (he owned about 8 tapes). The film that stuck with me, along with its orgy scene (at the end) was a film called Pretty Peaches. It starred Desiree Cousteau. I took a real liking to her. Funny enough she looked aloot like by Biology teacher - heh..
