Vidshop shipping

I ordered from Vidshop a few months ago, and though the order was delivered really quickly, it was shipped from Holland! A nice big Amsterdam postmark doesn't go down too well in my house...

What is the latest regarding this - are they sending stuff to most people from within the uk? They haven't replied to my emails about this.

I had the same. They make the point a few times on their site that delivery is from within uk, but my package was also from holland.

Okay, wouldn't be a major problem for most, but the least they could do is say orders are sometimes shipped from outwith uk, but they know some might then be put off ordering!

Yep I had the same problem as well,was'nt too happy about it.I never order from outside the UK.

I recently ordered for the first time from who also claim to only post from within the UK but it had been posted from Spain.

I just got an email fromsimplythebestdvd who say they will deliver from within the UK if you specify that when you order, but it will take a couple of weeks to come.
It may be that Vidshop are the same, but since I don't use them any more....

Just tell them its a big parcel of drugs "for medicinal purposes"

For the record:
I've just got an email from Vidshop saying the titles I'm after would be shipped from Holland. Not really knocking them -they've got a good range and post quickly THESE DAYS, but they do still claim on their website to always "ship from within the uk". Can't have everything I suppose!
Now, ordering "medicine" by mail order is a whole new kettle of fish...
