I have reaxamined the Colmax page dealing with their French version of the movie (LOLITA). It would appear (if I understand that crazy site) they do not sell the DVD, but rather the download version. This may explain why you have to set up an account, etc. Unless of course they are telling you different if you have communbicated with them through the page I had mentioned to you.
Since your access to the intenet is from a public library there seems to be very little chance you can see the movie from that situation.
The VHS (or DVD version if it was ever released in that format) seems to be out of print, and you either have to go the Colmax on-line download route or be a bit inventive in getting it from some "alternate" source, which nonetheless means access to the internet from home.

I HAVE ordered discs direct from Colmax [albeit over 5 years ago].... as far as
these things go, I had no problems.

But I'd have thought that for easy ordering of smut, the following would be
prerequisites:
1) one's own home PC;
2) a verifiable postal-address;
3) credit-card/Paypal account;
4) email account.

That's pretty much a given (I suppose you are required to provide an address to where the item is being shipped and a credit card to where the purchase will be charged to, but whether they absolutely need to have your e-mail address in order to complete a purchase what business is that of the seller?),
but excuse my ignorance JJ, what is this business that you need to set up an "account" in order to place an order, or is it a necessary condition if you are choosing a download instead of physical DVD?
I don't know what is Stan Crash's situation and I don't know whether you can make a quick purchase of smut from a PC in a public library when no one is looking over your shoulder. I suppose it requires a bit of planning and cunning, but if it involves downloading a video file you are really up a creek.

suspect it's mainly so they can spam you.
I agree it might be do-able to order in a library [or an Internet cafe], but you'd
have to be quick : -)

Many thanks for your efforts on my behalf. I'm gonna have to give it up, for now at least. JJ says he's had stuff from Colmax but 5 years ago. I've written to them, using French via Google language tools three times and they've not even replied. It seems to me a ridiculous state of affairs. You'd think they'd answer out of plain courtesy, and to put me in the picture. Some people! I suppose it serves me right for getting my head stuck on a film!
I'd ask you to keep an eye out for the film - there's got to be a copy somewhere. Again thanks for trying.

I don't normally order movies from on-line distributors, and frankly I am not particular crazy about the way Colmax has devised the method(s) to order a product through their site.
That said, Stan the movie does show up from time to time on the web. Google is your friend. You just have to keep your eyes open.
You also have a message in your e-mail (the one you provided under your posts, if it is a workable e-mail address) which you may find helpful.
