Magma used to release titles in weird manner (some in Germanm, some in French, some with French titles, some with German audio, some with English titles, some with combination of anyof those):

4WIW I have a general rule with these- if known, German takes precedence
over French; and English comes a poor third.

I don't know about "precedence".
I was making the point that Magma back in the 1980's and especially in the 1990's was
releasing movies in a variety of ways. German and French versions, with
crazy German, French, English titles. Some were shot in France, some in Germany I suppose.
Don't know what language they were shot in (I don't believe ALL those male and female performers
spoke all German and German, and most likely everyone spoke their own language and Magma
dubbed everything later for the French or German market, with perhaps different cast names, etc)
But there seems (to me) no rhyme or reason as to they way they shot
or released them.
You made mention of "Your Choice VHS" in an earlier post, but I have no
clue what they are/were. The Magma titles that made their way to
the North American market (in that period) had original box cover art (German, French), but
the actual video content could be censored/altered (don't know if by
by Magma itself or the local distributor) because of certain problematic content.

YC [one of egafd's sponsors !]- I cut my porno teeth with them, as back in
the early 90s they were one of the few suppliers of h/c VHS to the UK.
IIRC their Magmas almost always had German titles, and were uncut.
The 'language' conmment was meant to convey that in listing a title I will
give preference in that order. The only general exception to this would be for
things like the Payet retitlings.

JJ I really have no clue as what national flag you would put on any of those films I have listed or are in EGAFD database
that were released by Magma at least in the 1990's that I am more familiar with.
They were released in a variety of languages (French, German, at least that I am aware of) and
