Oh no! Its the Moog!

Hows Evil Edna doing? And Carwash the cat?

Sorry if this seems frivolous 80`s nostalgia but I have not yet read the link due to it being non-clickable and me being terminally lazy. I hope my Kenneth Williams impression came over OK. Sorry in advance for my "humour" if the link turns out to be a serious issue which is not befitting of rememberances of 80`s tv shows....Now wheres my Ruhbarb and Custard video?

And while we are on the subject dont forget Dangermouse. The best show ever apart from Minder.

Its hard living on an MI5 hamsters pension you know.

The saddest thing for me about this ordeal is that the person
has been scared witless and hence the reason why he/she is no longer surfing the net

Authorities have many powers and for the most part they are use
wisely but there are still instances like these that make your skin crawl

The person IS still surfing the net hence his post on a Guns n` Roses board. I suggest he has not been scared off using his PC by the intervention of Old Bill. The key word in his post was "newsgroups". I have yet to hear of anyone being arrested or having thier computer taken who had not by "accident" stumbled upon a NG where kiddy fiddlers were trading pics. I expect he is just lucky that he did not download any.

I avoid newsgroups due to the fact that they are full of perverts like that whinger who should thank his lucky stars he never got caught with a hard drive full of the filth he was probably looking for. Lets face it the pigs dont take peoples PCs at random.

It is possible to visit a group without being aware of the contents...believe it or not

I'm sure any kiddy fiddler newsgroups are under an assumed description which if you are like me and go through all groups just to see you can easily end up somewhere where you know you shouldn't have gone

I've come across sites with pictures of kids aged between 3 and 8 just surfing TGPs and being guided there by a dead link.

I suppose the one mistake people make is to actually download something which automatically makes you guilty before being proven innocent

FAO Magoo.

The person involved is a girl who runs her own Stone Roses website. Or did!

Ok fair enough. I was just being argumentative last night. Buttsie is right by saying people can accidentally stumble across stuff that is sick.

I would be interested to know how this girl came to the attention of the police in the first place.
