Pilska Julia p? br?llopsresa!

Post by Len801 »

It was apparently a French-Swedish production shot in France around 1981.
It was released in France in Aug 1982 in a "soft" version under the title of
JULIA ou NUITS DE NOCES A LA SUEDOISE.
It appears to have circulated in another abbreviated version as Les folles etreintes de Julia
The "Saison Cinematograophique" of 1983, indicates the director was billed
as Stan Lee Lubrick, which they claimed was a pseudonym of a certain "Andrew Whyte".

Who is "Andrew Whyte"? We know there was an italian director named Andrea Bianchi
who directed a number of mainstream erotic films as well as hc in the 1970's/1980's/1990's (under
the name of Andrew White). I don't know know whether it is the same person
who made JULIA,but there are curious indications tthat seem to point to him.

LA SAISON CINEMATOGRAPHIQUE of 1983 lists aother hc movie by "Andrew Whyte"
called INTERNATIONAL GIGOLO (aka HATE AND LOVE) (again supposedly a Swedish-French production) which
was releasded in France in January 1983. It featured Olynka, Helen Shirley, Marianne Aubert,
Gabriel Pontello. This is listed in EGAFD as Hetaste Liggen

What is extremely curious is that LA SAISON lists the cinematographer as "A. Bianchi".
So perhaps "Andrew Whyte", "Andrew White" and Andrea Bianchi are all the same person.
The same French distributor Audifilm distributed LE CAPRICES D'UNE NIECE (CARA DOLCE NIPOTE)
a soft-core movie featuring Femi Benussi as well as INTERNATIONAL GIGOLO and JULIA. Too much of a
coincidence in my view.

LA SAISON (of 1984) lists LES BESOINS DE LA CHAIR

as being released in France in Jan. 1984 co-directed by Olivier Mato and Andrea Bianchi. The French
distributor was Cinevog

"Andrew Whyte" also shows up as director in "Raspoutine, le roi de l'amour"
(ca 1980) , which seems to be in EGAFD as this

....And it gets more very confusing.
According to IMDB, Andrea Bianchi is an Italian director
born in Rome in 1925, and who supposedly directed a number of movies under
the pseudonym of "Andrew White"

If we are to believe IMDB, there are listed a couple of hc movies: MORBOSAMENTE VOSTRA
(1985) with Karin Schubert, and supposedly GIOCO DI SEDUZIONE with Moana Pozzi.

EGAFD often makes reference to the "Andrew Whyte" movies to a certain "Andrei Feher".
IMDB says this about this individual. Born in 1916 (Romania) and died in 2003 (LA, USA)

with this biography resume:
In his home country Romania he was a promising young cinematographer
and worked there during the 1950s and 1960s. Because of the political situation in Romania,
he moved abroad, to Italy and Yugoslavia with his family during the 1970s. In Sweden he
established himself as a pornographer, always using a fake name ("Feher" is Hungarian for "white").
He left Sweden in the middle of the 1980s and moved to France, where he continued to make
pornography.

Which supposedly means, there are/were two different individuals using similar/identical names and
pseudonyms, dabbling in hc movies in the 1980's.

Anyone know more about all this?

Yes. Two of them. Julia was directed by Andrei Feher, the Romanian, as were the other films mentioned.

I'd have to look the films up in Dictionnaire des films fran?ais pornographiques et ?rotiques 16 et 35 mm, but it's not organised in such a way as to make it easy to assemble information on a director. More to follow.

I haven't capped this particular film, probably because my copy is so poor, but the box cover of the video titled ?clatements Charnels credits the director as Andrew Whyte, as do the on-screen credits for Hetaste Liggen, Professeur Raspoutine (soft version), Porno Race (Marilyn European Sex Games) and so on.

The Le Dictionnaire entry for Julia says
"Julia ou nuits de noces ? la su?doise"
1981
Pr. Andrei Feher, Jacques P?roni er Georges Odetto pour Scandinavian Art Film (Stockholm) at Paris Zurich Films (Marseilles).
R?. Stan Lee Lubrick (- Andrei Feher)

Maybe Stan Lee Lubrick was used for the cinema release or for official French purposes, but Andrew Whyte was the alias used in the videos as far as I can remember from the ones I've seen. I don't think I've seen the Stan Lee Lubrick alias in any of the versions I've seen, but that's going from memory. I'm not in a position to check at the moment.

Anyway, therit seems that there was a Romanian (Andrei Feher) who used the alias Andrew Whyte, and an Italian, Andrea Bianchi who used the alias Andrew White.

If anyone has a good copy of this title (there is or was one about on the net), captures would be very useful.

I will try to describe the review of JULIA OU NUITS DE NOCES A LA SUEDOISE, which
was compiled in the 1983 directory of La Revue du du Cienma - La Saison Cinematographique
Not literally but I will summarize (and translate):
Swedish-French production.
80 min, color
Distributor: Audifilm
Director: Stan Lee Lubrick (Andrew Whyte)
Script: Jacques Courtenay
Producer: OTP Cine/Paris-Zurich Film
Cast: Barbi Andersson-Dompat (as Julia), J. Lindgren, Jean L. Laporte, Isabelle Dior
Paris release: Aug. 11, 1982
Rating: X-rated (no one under 18 admitted)

Romeo and Julia are a young Swedish couple who have traveled to the Cote d'Azur by motorcycle
to spend their honeymoon. They sleep by the seaside and when they wake up, they find
all their belongings gone. They hitch-hike and are picked up by 3 Americans who
molest Julia. They are eventually taken in by Professor Balthazar and his wife Kiki, a music-hall star.
Balthazar proposes the young couple do an a erotic live show called "Swedish wedding nights", which
becomes a success. Julia sleeps out with the baron Robert, and Romeo has a revenge fuck with Kiki.
The following day Julia gets involved with 4 Hells Angels characters. But it was all a dream and Romeo
and Julia awake by the seaside...

The film review makes it very plain the movie is quite lame.

Thanks. I've added the review, but the details regarding the various versions are
very much Alec's province rather than mine.
I'll try and do some caps of the mysterious Ms Dior as soon as I get time.

"a harmless drudge, that busies himself in tracing the original, and detailing the
signification...."

Update:

It appears that the alias Stan Lee Lubrick was used as the director's alias in order to pass the film off as French for the CNC. This comes as a result of further info received by e-mail:

Stan Lee Lubrick was one of the aliases used by Gilbert Roussel. George Combret (Audifilm) was a close associate of his and they used one of Roussel's numerous aliases in their bogus credits to pass this Swedish movie off for the CNC as a French production helmed by Jacques Courtenay (aka Jacques Peroni aka Johana Morgan) under the banner of OTP Films & Paris-Zurich Film, two companies he more or less managed at the time.

Thanks for the update Alec.
The movie was shot in France (quite likely with a a local crew) and with local performers.

The name of "Stan Lubrick" (not Stan Lee Lubrick) has appeared in many euro movies:
Fantaisie ?rotique (ca1981,OTP films) with Ajita Wilson
supposedly attributed to Sergio Begonzelli

and even more recent movies (don't know who is behind all these aliases/movies) if it's the same individual
(EGAFD does not always list his name in its database):
Les 12 commandements sexuels (ca2007) with Anastasia Kass

All? nurses 1 (ca1999) with Delfynn Delage

Baise-moi si tu veux (2004,JTC) with Tiffany Hopkins

Une blonde, une brune, ma bite et mon couteau (2005)

These titles do not seem to be in EGAFD
Extrem anal 7 (ca1999) with Nomi
Fiche in Vacanza (2005,Pinko) with Fiona Evans
Lolitas anales 5 (ca1999) with Delfynn Delage
Lolita dream No 21 (ca2001) with Laura Guerlin
Quartier hautement sexuel (2007) with Nomi and Anastasia Kass

With regards to "Gilbert Roussel", he is credited in PUTAIN DE SORCIERE"
(1982, distrib. by Audifilm in France in Dec. 1982)
(known under its alternative title of LA FILLE DU FOND DES BOIS)
which EGAFD has very little scant information

According to La Saison Cinematograophie (1983 directory), it also stars
Brigitte Verbeck, Elisabeth Bure', Helene Lefebvre
Louise (Pascale Vital) lives in a remote wooded area with the deaf-and-dumb (sorry if this sounds
politically incorrect these days) Joseph (Georges Da Silva) who tends after the sheep.
The rest of the text/review is extremely difficult to understand or translate except
to say it involves a certain amount of witchcraft, rape and murder of a young girl at the hands of
a charatcre named Nicolas (Alain Plumey).

Just a thought Alec.
Since it has been clearly established this was a French production, why not
list it under its French moniker instead of the "fake" Swedish title?
