Nah, there's a long and amusing history between Rob Black's mob and the AVN team. I'd tell it here, but it'd take too long and cost an awful lot in libel charges!

One I saw with my own eyes was Turd Ferguson gatecrashing this year's AVN Expo in his giant turd suit and calling AVN's editor, Paul Fishbien, all manner of names and generally being lary and disruptive before being 'asked' to leave. I seemed to spend more time checking out Veronica Caine and Lizzy Borden, though...

There's the erotic awards or whatever they're called, but that's it.

I think because adult material is still subject to so many restraints, it'll be a while before we get to see any sort of awards ceremony like the AVNs. Also, AVN is *the* trade mag in the US, and they carry a lot of clout within the business (not to mention plenty of advertising from the labels). Until we have production houses on a similar scale in this country, I can't see it happening.
