Hunger Nach Liebe 1 + 2

Post by Dx.One »

Hunger Nach Liebe Teil: 1
Hunger Nach Liebe Teil: 2

Marine Cartier doesn't appear at all.
I guess she was confused with Gritt Santini, who appears in both movies
and is credited as Gabriela Young.

"Girl Betty" is not a full credit. It must be "Crazy Boy-Girl Betty" and
it refers to the transsexal in vol. 2.

The credit "Eve" for vol. 2 and on the boxcover certainly belongs to Yves Baillat.

I don't know if "Dominique" in this case refers to a male or to a female.

Thanks.
I've done some prelimnary tidying but need to take a look at the films to
get things clearer in my own mind.

I've done a synopsis of part 1 and quoted the screen-credits.
From these I'm inclined to accept the boxcover-to-screen mutation 'May Lin'/
'Marylin' for Surya Jamal, which then leaves GY as the sole option for Gritt -
as long as we assume that 3249 is uncredited : -)

These credits are in the usual V'rama/HSM 'house style' - unlike the creds.
for part 2, which are exceedingly cheap-and-nasty looking. Since those for
part 1 list Jana/Andrea, who does not appear until part 2, it seems
reasonable to assume that they were intended as 'one size fits all' and I
intend to disregard the 'cheapo' ones for ID purposes.

There seem to be at least three males that I can't ID; quite often you only
get the briefest glimpse of their faces. 'Eric' I have always assumed is the
youngish dark-haired guy, fairly ubiquitous in both parts - and who - it's
always been assumed - was DvG's 'real life' BF at the time.......

I'll have a go at part 2 after some sleep, as it will require the wholesale
dismantling/rewrite of the entire existing entry.

Another possibility:
Since Jana Schwarz is credited in the wrong movie, I think it's
not impossible that 3249 is credited in the wrong movie too - as Warda.

Howsoever, I think GY for Gritt is correct. She's regularly credited with
some variations of Gabriela.

I have two issues with that:
It gives more credence to the pt. 2 screen-creds than I'm happy with;
It destroys the integrity of the 'one size fits all' cover-credits.

GY has already been listed as a GS alias, without quibble or query : -)
