Do directors/producers/companies take ideas?

I was wondering if they take plot ideas or suggestions from the general public. Like if you can submitt somewhere what you think a porn movie, or scene at least, should be like; even to the exten to of who you think should be ideal for this or that role.

Some may argue it's porn, it's about fucking but in my opinion the best movies or scenes have a plot.

In the old days, with plot-driven movies, people used to submit "scripts" (story lines)
to the production company/director. It did not pay that well, from what I read
on this subject (a couple of hundred bucks).
There used to be a very prolific "scripwriter" in US porn called Cash Markman (who also later directed).
I have no idea how he went about writing his scripts and suceeded in
peddling them to various movie production compnaies.

I don't know whether there is a presently a system that exists where people
can actually submit shooting scripts to a porn company. It probably still does
not pay well, and the movie budgets being what they are, they
prefer to do things "in house". Just read the movie credits usually found at
the end of the movie to see what I mean.
Would you really spend a lot of time and money to type out a script,
get it copyrighted, and start circulating it around to various porn companies and at the
end being offered $120?
