Thanks. I've altered the details. It could well be that the footage was shot at different times. Certainly Yves Baillat looks a lot younger than he would have done in 1996.
It's only surprising that he found a distributor at all. It's very short, which means there was less of a bad thing.
The decline in the standard of Reinhard's output between the late 80s (1987 - Initiation d'une jeune marquise, for example) and the 90s was steep, perhaps he couldn't raise the funds to make the sort of films he made in the 70s and 80s.
