For this review I used the "russian-edition" of the film; simply for it is the one
that I got. I was unaware of an "english-edition" existing at all until I
started researching for this review. In this case the "english-version" is pretty odd, for the series-title is "Tatushki"
instead of the usual "Tattoos"... As far as I can tell by now this remains a strange
exception within the editions of this series.
But the original-title is first choice anyway, right?!

I thought at first it might have been an idiomatic usage of which (not
surprisingly) I was unaware. But I found this:
"The stylistically lowered diminutive is formed with the suffix ? ?k?

As we're dealing with VERY close friends and already have other 'extreme'
diminutives like Dunyasha, it might be better to stick with the rather more
distinctive 'k' than creating a new Sveta [x].

results of some "home-made-russian-translations" or simply caused by
