spanking videos and dvds
Re: spanking videos and dvds
I would have thought that this 'advert' was slightly O/T for the BGAFD. As I understand it we are all interested in the propagation of the British Adult film business and British producers. Why do you still place posts from people who are openly and illegally pirating videos? I know we have been there before, it is hard sometimes to separate the genuine suppliers from the pirates but in this case it should not have been too difficult. Paul Brown? Not the right name, is a video pirate and as such he should not be able to advertise his illegal activities in this forum. Indeed if we as genuine producers place an overtly advertorial statement we risk being pulled up about it.
We see many posts asking why there is no major investment in British adult films, well in the case of some of the films being illegally sold on this site there has been considerable investment both in the production, the advertising and in the production of DVDs. The fact that this individual does not have the decency to buy his product and distribute it legally and honestly should mean in itself that he should not be able to place his advert. Lets get real, we all here have an interest in the adult business, either as consumers, models or producers and it is all of us at the end of the day that this sort of activity is damaging. Many people take very seriously the musings, statements and the up to the minute information on these pages. This forum is now an authoritative voice within the industry, as such some care needs to be taken in looking at what is placed here. It is illegal to sell this pirated product, legally established companies hold the copyright, they can take action and they will take action. Don?t help thieves!

Re: spanking videos and dvds
your implication that we deliberately permit posts by pirates, is complete and utter bollocks!
believe it or not, posts do get overlooked. it doesn't happen often but sometimes a combination of circmstances (including the fact that we have lives outside of the forum) can mean that some posts creep under our radar. if you email or otherwise alert us with regard to any oversights, we'll remedy the situation, asap. intelligence from sources we know we can respect is always useful.
to be clear: in section 2.6 of the faq it states: "It is not in the interests of the site to allow the forum to be used to trade copies of broadcast programmes or to trade copies of videos which are easily available to buy. This is effectively stealing from the people in the industry. Any suspected reference to trading in copies of an original artifact, whether VHS, VCD or DVD, will be removed."
this is our policy and it will remain so. if you knew how many posts we remove because they breach this (and other rules) you might be surprised but it's probably always going to be a case of "you can please some of the people all of the time..."
