What A weird World we live in-especially Britain!
Cut someone open on the slab for public display & Television and hand the body parts around (sick bags at the ready),BUT if we show a 'tit & bum'out of place-all hell breaks loose....
Why is sexual intercourse a major "crime" for television audiences...but cut the bits up in close-up makes adult "entertainment"...

I agree, is this a real obscenity? offensive to public taste & decency? despite the protestations "All in the best possible taste" (Sorry Kenny!) It seemed to be nothing more than a peep show pandering to the ghoul mentality that is so prevalent in todays society. With the added bonus of flogging tickets to see the "spectacle" I wonder who's pockets it lined? And don't the media just love it, anything to sell a story, this should run long enough to make them yet another tidy sum. I'd rather watch a naked female induldging in various sexual activities anyday, in public or otherwise. A Septagenarian pickled Cadaver isn't top of my "must see" list. Mind you it's probably only a matter of time before someone involved in it gets their collar felt under our obscenity laws, mind you isn't "Art" exempt if performed on stage with a paying audience? I wonder what's next, week-end breaks in the company of your local Pathologist? That could earn the NHS a few bob & satisfy the media & public thirst for "education" lol. I wonder if this is covered by Blunkett's new Sex Laws?

Just to say I have no connection with the Professor that dissects bodies,I like mine intact,complete with skin and hair,and I don't mind which region...
But it's been reported today after the screening,that another Doctor plans to stage similar events,perhaps on a national tour!

But also it's reported that the Prof,him of prime cuts,exhibition "Body Worlds" has made a fortune out of his show,reputedly ?45 million Worldwide.

I wonder how much my local butcher makes,actually wrong,he went out of business yonks ago-swallowed up by the local supermarket.

Anyhow,enjoy your Page 3 and others beauties before they end up on the slab,looking inside the bodies seems to be 'more thrilling'and makes better television...

....I suppose the struggle to demystify the Human body should apply internally, as well as externally. Although I do find it somewhat exhibitionistic.
Human organs are quite beautiful, if one thinks of them in terms of structure and function (or possibly, malfunction, in the case of this particular individual).

Never mind,JJ,that 'other'Prof may find you some spares-it will come in time,perhaps not in our lifetime though.

yes i agree,i switched holby city off cos it was too realistic at least with a sexy film i can drink a nice cup of tea and eat a takeaway etc.[its a strange world]
